The main purpose of extra curricular activities were to focus on the particular pupil or student. Through extra curricular activities children can get an opportunity to be involved with other students. To understand, they can join a sports club or student organization. Such types of activities help them get mentally engaged and, depending on the activity, physically active but its advantages never ends here.

Firstly , you need to give them a chance to choose the activity according to their choice or interest. Because from time to time their interests may change. So don't panic on them.
