Common University Entrance Test, also known as CUET UG, is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutions. Launched in 2022 and considered the leading UG entrance exam, CUET exam provides a platform for candidates to get into UG programs in top colleges/universities in India. The exam is conducted annually in more than 500 cities in India and abroad. The test is computer based. The CUET exam is conducted in different stages depending on the number of candidates registered for the entrance exam.
CUET PG Counseling 2024 Highlights
Candidates are required to participate in the counseling program after the CUET PG results 2024 are declared. Each college runs its own counseling and registration process.

Each participating college runs a counseling program based on CUET PG score. All certificates required for CUET PG counseling must be submitted on or after January 1, 2024. After the publication of CUET PG 2024 Result, universities will announce the counseling schedule.
The National Testing Agency is not responsible for the guidance process. universities will also publish the event lists of various courses on the websites of the relevant universities. Candidates who cannot score or above the university's cutoff score will not be accepted to the guidance program. Candidates are required to have the necessary documents with them during verification from the University administration.
CUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the CUET eligibility criteria set by NTA to apply and appear for the UG main exam. Eligibility criteria are as follows:
CUET Essential Core and Academic Skills
Students must have passed grade 12 in an accredited discipline or related field and must have been accepted into a university postgraduate programme. Students in grade 12 who had not yet taken the board exam were also eligible to apply.
Age Limit There is no age limit to take the
CUET 2024 exam, but candidates must meet the age criteria of the university/institute/organization (if any) they wish to join. Nationality Criteria To be eligible for the
CUET exam, candidates must meet the following citizenship requirements:
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Tibetan refugees, including Nepal and Bhutan, arrived in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and settle there permanently.
Pakistanis, Burundians, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians and Vietnamese people moved to India permanently.
